PowerConnect Switches - memPartAlloc: block too big

Question

Hi!   I have 4 x Dell PowerConnect 3248, 1 x Dell PowerConnect 5224 and 2 x Dell PowerConnect 5324 switches on my LAN here in the office.   Recently I discovered that all switches except the 5324 model switches had a memory problem. If I tried Telnet to the switch or tried a 'show running-config' through the serial connection I would see these errors:   0xc7ab78 (CLITASK0): memPartAlloc: block too big - 40960 in partition 0x4661e4.% Memory is not enough   xc920d0 (P2IP): memPartAlloc: block too big - 4540 in partition 0x4661e4.0xc920d0 (P2IP):  soDupSockUsr : no space for child   After a 'reload' of the switch everything works fine however.   Why does this error happen on the switches, and why does it not happen on the 5324 models? This error prevents any telnet connection on the switches so I would like to avoid them in the future (and who knows what else it might have an impact on).... Thanks I have now posted it at :   http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=pc_managed&thread.id=9860   To me it was not logical that network switches was below 'Servers and storage'  and not under 'TechTalk/Networking' :-)
