Prblem with wireless 2200BG
I have extrmely diffult time trying to have stable connection with this wireless card.
First, I searched this related topic in this forum before, some sad to instal the old version.
Unfortunately, it is not working. It seems like not only mine but also my roomate's new laptop from I6000d (with the same wireless card) have the problem. Yet, under the same condition, my old trusted I8500 does not have this problem at all, which means the router is working fine. What may be the problem?
I tried to call Dell support, waiting for 5 hours, I was still listening that repeated music.
I also tried to use live chat, yet, "All agents are currently busy. Please refresh the page to see if agents become available, or choose an option from the Contact Us link above."
Tuely frustrated!:smileymad:

Thanks. I need WPA for my work site. Guess I'll just have to continue to wait for new drivers.

I have been facing the same problem with my new I6000d since the day I got it. In between, Dell Tech Support tried troubleshooting the Wireless Card and then replaced it with a new one. The new card is giving the same problem; I am unable to keep myself connected to the net for long, the connection gets lost and I have to hit Fn-F2 twice to bring it back to its full strength.
Was thinking of calling back Dell support, but would try your suggestion first. Please tell in more details, what effect it would have disabling the WZC utility.
Thanks
