I had same issue. My connection appears to be stable now. I had to disable the WZC utility that windows uses. Double click on the utility icon for the 2220. Select tools and then select administrator tools. Click settings and then uncheck the box that says "allow the user to use XP Zero config". Restart the computer. I did this instead of using old drivers and it seems to be working. Have not lost a connection since doing this.
If you do this you will not be able to view other files of computers on your network as windows requires you to use its configuration utility while networking. Print sharing is OK
Hi,
I have been facing the same problem with my new I6000d since the day I got it. In between, Dell Tech Support tried troubleshooting the Wireless Card and then replaced it with a new one. The new card is giving the same problem; I am unable to keep myself connected to the net for long, the connection gets lost and I have to hit Fn-F2 twice to bring it back to its full strength.
Was thinking of calling back Dell support, but would try your suggestion first. Please tell in more details, what effect it would have disabling the WZC utility.

Thanks. I need WPA for my work site. Guess I'll just have to continue to wait for new drivers.
