Precision 410 Modem/Network Drivers

I have a Dell Precision 410.  On the back of the computer there is an integrated modem or network port.  The phone line cord fits into this port.  However, I cannot find any drivers for it to work.  So, I am wondering if it actally a network port and my computer does not have an integrated modem.  The revision on the motherboard is A03.  In addition, I found the following chip on the board:

3com 40-0502-003
9951T 299534310
LUCENT 40-05023

I don't have a network cord to plug into the computer to see if it is a network port.  Can anyone please tell me what I have on this computer.

More idientication on the motherboard is:

DP/N 0003768U 20400 01B 0K0R

Thanks, Diane

The mb will not have an integrated modem, so i would suggest its most likely a network port. If you look into the port, you should be able to see some wires. If theres more than two, then its not a modem port. The modem would be a seperate pci card.

That connector is the 3com 3C905 compatable onboard 10/100 NIC.

Any version of windows WIN98SE and up should recognize this without needing drivers.

WIN95 and WIN98 NON SE need the Onboard 3COM nic driver.
