Thanks Steve for the link....but I am more confused now than ever! There are so many details and none of them really match what I want to do. Any other links that are more direct on setting up File and printer sharing for adhoc only?
That tutorial is the easiest and most straight forward tutorial I know of. Just follow the directions that say " If your computer has ONE network card and does NOT have a broadband modem directly connected to it:" Starting on the following page:
