PRISMCFG.EXE Error (Amongst Others)

Hi Folks, I've recently installed wireless broadband onto my Dell computer, and have now noticed some performance issues and strange behaviour!   The wireless network service provider is BT (British Telecom) and I am using a BT approved wireless network adapter and wireless router.  I am running XP with SP2.  I have changed the wireless network settings to allow Windows management.   The problems I have been experiencing are:   When shutting down the pc, Windows cannot terminate the process PRISMCFG.EXE. The speed and performance of the PC seems to be drastically reduced. MS Word keeps 'hanging' - bizzarely whenever I press the enter key!   I ran Hijack This and attach my results in case this may be of use!   Can you help?   Thanks, Paul. In Task Manager do you find a process named 'Desk95' ?
And if you do, End Task for it.
You may also do a Search files and folders, also looking for 'Desk95' and if you find it, rename it. I usually change ".exe" to ".xex"
