Problem connecting to internet at local cafe
My son and I were at a local cafe and he tried to connect to the internet on an unsecured connection and he could not connect. He has no problem connecting at home on our wireless network. Was his first time trying to connect outside our house. XPS 1530 with built in wireless N card. We are both brand new to notebooks and WiFi. He clicked on the unsecured connection box to connect and nothing happened. The connection he was trying to use was actually from a business next door to the cafe we were in. Any suggestions would be helpful.

XPS410,
It's possible the business is using Mac address filtering. Next time, try connecting to one of these WiFi Connections.
