Problem Installing DWL-G122 USB WLAN card

Hi
I bought this Dimension 5150 PC about 9 months before.
I am trying to install DWL-G122 USB wireless card and having problem.
The driver installation from CD goes thru OK. System Devices it shows working properly.
But when I start Dlink AirPlus Utility nothing happens.
The cursor shows busy for a sec or two and then just nothing.
The utility does not pop-up.
Windows firewall is off now.
The same USB card worked on Windows 2000 laptop and other P4 Desktop with XP pro works fine.
Somehow this Dell with XP home its giving problem.
I downloaded Mandrake Live 2007 and booted from same. The machine and this same card worked fine.
So the problem is with This DELL and XP home combination.
Any ideas how to resolve?

First excuse me if the directions for this is a little different as I am not on XP but been on it long enough to know where things are. Go to network connections, right click on the connection to your D-Link adapter select properties, click on the wireless networks tab uncheck the box saying use windows to configure me wireless network setting and click ok. You should now be able to use D-Link Airplus Utility.
