problem installing wireless network card

Question

I have tried installing and reinstalling the software that comes with the wireless network card, but each time in the device manager the card has the yellow dot next to it. The wireless card works properly, i've checked it on another computer. I need help. dell support has been no help. thanks, lisa

Which version of Windows?  Which make and model network card are you installing?  Have you downloaded the latest drivers? Steve

thanks for responding. I have a brand new dell with xp on it, i have 2 identical computers with the same drivers installed on both. the network card is also dell trumobile 1300. any advice?
