problem making or connecting to wireless network.ins 1525

I have a dell inspiron 1525 notebook.when i switch the wireless on the wireless light on my notebook doesn't become on (the blue tooth does).when i check the device manager it shows that dell wireless 1395 mini card is installed and works properly but when i search for wireless networks it doesn't find any networks.when i try to build  the wireless ad hoc network I enter the name of the network but in the next step it says making failed.

I'v tried uninstalling the drive and installing it again. I'v even tried reinstalling windows but it doesn't work at all.

note:when I tried to install the driver again the light came on but after installing of the software finished it didn't work again and the light came off again.

I am using windows Vista 32 bit ultimate edition.

omid666,

How did you re-install Windows? If you did a clean install, using the disks, then did you???

The Desktop/Notebook Utility needs to be installed first, then the chipset drivers. If they are NOT installed first, then the rest of the drivers will fail to install.

Since the operating system was re-installed did you remember to go to drivers and downloads, enter your service tag(DO NOT POST SERVICE TAG here or your post will get deleted, since it contains your personal information), and install these drivers in this order.

:emotion-55: Hint :emotion-55: When downloading the drivers, make a folder for each drivers and name it with the device it belongs with to make it easier to install them in the proper order.

Desktop System Software or Notebook System Software
Chipset or SMBus driver
Processor Driver (if applicable)
Video
Audio (sound)
Input Drivers (keyboard/mouse)
Modem
Network Card

QuickSet(Laptop only)

omid666,

I'd consider trying this...

Restoring Your Computer´s Software to the Factory Settings
