Problem with connection

I have a Dimension2400 running XP with a Broadcom NIC.  I also have a Linksys Wireless-G router.  I recently got DSL and could not connect directly to the DSL modem through the NIC card.  Thinking the problem might be isolated there, I purchased a Belkin wireless card that I installed.  Both the NIC connection and the wireless connection sit at an "acquiring network address" state.  I have successfully connected 2 different laptops to this network and they work fine.  Everything checks out with DSL and Linksys.  Where can I go from here?

To help troubleshoot this problem, go to Start > Run and type cmd then click OK. In the command prompt window that opens, type ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Write down the output from this command or select it and save it to a txt file, then copy this output into a reply to this message.  Be sure to state what kind of connection you are trying to make when you run this, as you seem to have a variety of possibilities.
