Problem with Dell 1390 fixed

I had experienced very slow wireless recovery times (>60sec) with my Inspiron 9400 after sleep or hibernation. I had updated all drivers with my Linksys router and Dell 1390 card to no avail. This was with Vista Ultimate, both RTM and SP1. No problems if I booted XP.

My final solution was to replace the 1390 with the Intel 3945abg (I think) card. Now all is well, recovery time is less than 5sec.
