Problem with Dell Wireless 1830
I recently got an XPS 15 with Windows 10 and a Dell Wireless 1830 WiFi adapter installed. It will not work with any WiFi network. It will connect to the Wifi network, but once connected it will not pass packets.
I have found two different workarounds depending if the network is a 2.4GHz or 5GHz network. Disabling 'ARP Offload' in the advanced driver settings will allow 2.4GHz SSIDs to work while disabling 802.11d support will allow 5GHz networks to work. I'm surprised to still see an 802.11d option as it was discontinued at the start of 2015.
However I would rather not disable the ARP offload function. Does Dell have an explanation for this as I cannot be the only person to experience these issues?

I should also add that the problem existed with the original driver version 1.555 that was installed along with the updated 1.566 version that I have updated to.
