problem with dell wireless manager
sounds stupid but...i have had accidently deinstall dell wireless manager. I cant connect to wireless network now because all what i get is "local acces only" Any idea where to find it and install again, please? Second Q is - this program caused lots of problems earlier..does anyone experienced similiar problems like freezing and "this program stopped working" messages?

wella77,
Since we don't know the make and model or your computer and operating system or the wireless adapter installed, this will be vague.
How to start Wireless Zero Configuration using Vista/Windows 7
How can I disable wireless configuration services and enable the Windows XP Wireless Zero Configuration services
Windows Vista cannot obtain an IP address from certain routers or from certain non-Microsoft DHCP servers

Its Dell laptop, inspiron 1520, with Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T5250 @1.50 GHz . System installed is Windows Vista Home Premium SP2, 32 bit operating system. Im not sure is it useful but whole problem seems to involve network adapter Broadcom 802.11g , dell wirelles wlan card 1390 as well.
Rick, thanks for reply

wella77,
Did you recently install the operating system? If so, did you install the notebook system utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Start, control panel, device manager, network, your netaork adapter, advanced. Look for antenna diversity. Some modesl have it and some don't. Change it from Auto to Aux.

no last thing about system (more memory added) was done around 9 months ago and laptop was working fine.
what i found under network adapters is:
1) broadcom 440x10/100 integrated controller
2) broadcom 802.11g network adapter ( i found antena diversity but there is no AUX option to choose just AUTO)
3) isatap.{AE71B110-09F1-414E-81C4-A7EFE75EF883} (this one is marked with yellow exlamation mark. windows says that this device doesnt work properly coz windows cant load drivers required for this device Code 31) I clicked on "check for solution" but nothing came up then i clicked for "update driver" and after lenghty search i got message that the best driver is already installed (!!!) Microsoft ISATAP Adapter

wella77,
Try running Finding System Information remove your product id and post the rest of the information back here.
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
Did you try uninstalling the device in the device manager and restart your computer. If the drivers are on your computer, the new hardware wizard should install it correctly, then the computer is logged in to an unrestricted account.

wella77,
Please click on the green pencil and remove the product ID numbers, both of them, please.
Your information is...

Try downloading and installing the
Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller and the Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN MiniCard <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed / replaced from this post by Dell>
Then downloading Dell QuickSet <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed / replaced from this post by Dell>and installing. You should hopefully see the 1390 wireles adapter appear. The information above does not show that the 1390 adapter is there.
Start, control panel, device manager
Do you see any yellow exclaimination marks or red x's?
What do you see listed under network?
