Problem with Linksys WPM54G on Dimension 4550

I have had my Linksys WPM54G Wireless Nic Card since Jan 2003, With a Linksys WRT54G Router. It has worked fine until now!

Here is what happened! I just bought a Dimension 4600 and took out the Video Card and exchanged it with my 4550 Video's card! (it had some extra output for High Defination Moniters The 4600) Anyways when I plugged my new video card in and restarted my computer my wireless nic went down, so I called linksys and didn't get anywhere, they had my plug in the nic on my downstairs computer next to the router and it started to work after, so I took it back upstairs and tried in on my 4550 again. It started, but then the light on the card went out. I have gotten it to start back up again once or twice, but if I turn my computer off, it still shows the SSID, but I can't connect to my network. Hopefully I'm making since? Anybody have any ideas?

PS - WIN XP

Did you just "take it out" or did you unistall it?

I'm not sure I understand, but I took out the old video card and installed the new one

as far as the network cards  is concerned I took it out and uninstalled it and reinstalled it.

Weird thig is I think it has something to do with my usb ports and irq?? I unplugged my computer and plugged it back in and everything works again???

No way to unistall the NIC if you took it out previously.

Chnage the PCI slots with the cards and see what happens.

Too many threads going for me.  Time to take a few days off.

I'm not sure if I understnad what you mean "no way to unistall the nic if you took it out previously" I have uninstalled the wireless nic and removed it from my computer and reinstalled the drivers and put the wireless nic back into my computer, and I have also changed PCI slots for the wireless nic as well to no avail, but I think it has something to do with my new video card and the extra irq it loads as well as my usb ports because since I've taken out everything from my usb port and structured them better (next to each other, instead of all different ports around the computer, the wireless nic has started working again ( i also had to unplug the computer and plug it back in?
