If it does, I owuld suspect it is of very poor quality.  You might want to consider investing in one of those headsets with a built in mike.

No Its not b'cos of headset, I hv tried many headsets but the same problem persists. If It was Headset problem how does the same piece works after rebootingn the system.
 
I am not sure about the techincal details...but my guess is when i play Winamp it occupies some resources... which it wont release even after exiting winamp. I dont know the reason exactly.

Programs such as those usually stay active in the System Tray due to they are allowed to StartUp when the machine boots up.  Remove it from the Start Up menu and see if the issue remains.
