Problem with my Broadcom 440x Integrated Controller
I know that this topic has been bludgeoned to death, but I must ask you people for help anyways.
I have a Dell Dimension 2400 with a Broadcom 440x Integrated Controller. Up until this point I have been using Dial-up but I have now decided to get DSL. My device manager read for the longest time that my Broadcom controller was not loading the drivers correctly, but after an exhausted effort I finally fixed it. The Broadcom Control Suite says that the drivers are loaded correctly and the device is functioning properly.

However, my ISP (SBC Yahoo DSL)'s installation CD says that I still need to install an ethernet adapter. I checked my Device Manager again and now it says that my Broadcom 440x Integrated Controller - Packet Scheduler Miniport is not loading the drivers correctly. However, the actual controller still says it is working properly.
I have tried reinstalling drivers from the Dell website. I have tried reinstalling the chipset drivers. I am running out of ideas..if anybody can help, please do so.
Thanks.
