Problem with my Inspiron laptop! Please Please help!

Hi. I got a new laptop for christmas. It worked perfectly fine the day I got it. When I went to bed I turned it off and went to sleep. When I got up in the morning and turned it on it wouldn't go past the starting windows screen. i turned it off and started it many times but it still wouldnt do anything. I ran the dell diagnostics test and it said confidence test fail. I really need help on correcting this problem. I tried to run safe mode and everything but it wouldnt even do that. What is the confidence test? And how can I make it work? Pleae help!
