If the Lexmark has no built-in Ethernet device, you could buy a network print server - Ethernet to the LAN, parallel or USB to the printer. Here's a
sampling from Linksys. You may have some difficulty if the printer software has fancy status-monitoring features. Sometimes those features don't play well with network-connected printers.
Thank You very much for that bit of info. It did help me out and led me to do more reading on it. For now, I think my Dim 4300 will just have to be the print server.
