Problem with "TCP/IP not enable for this connection. Connot proceed"

I'm struggle with its Dell Wireless 1450 Wireless USB Adapter. In the XP Device manager, it appears working just fine. But no wireless connection is made with my upstair wireless router, which it has been connected to for 2 plus years. When I attemped to repair the connection, the following on screen message appeared:
"Window could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed:
TCP/IP not enable for this connection. Connot proceed."

I tried to uninstalled it, then, installed it again.  But nothing improved...
What should I do?

Yes.  All the boxes are checked there including Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), I just double checked it...

OPen Network Connections, right click your wireless connection, select Properties, then Make sure there is a check mark next to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).

I downloaded the freeware, and run it on this Dell Dimenosion XPS 400.  Then, rebooted the PC.  Then, tried to repire the wireless connection.  But, I still got the same on screen messege as before (TCP/IP not enable for this connection...).  I run winsockfix on this PC again, and reboot it once more.  Still got the same result....

Open Network Connections.  Is there a Network Bridge listed there?  If so, delete it.

It turns out to be a faulty net card.  I bought a new one from BestBuy, everything is fine now.  Thank you so much for all of the great help...:smileyhappy:
