Problem with Video chat between Aim and iChat

Question

I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 with Aim 5.9, my son has a macbook with iChat. We have not been able to connect with video chat. He has tried it with an older inspiron 4100 and his macbook and video chat worked just fine. Is there some setting I need to change to be able to connect ? We can IM back and forth without any problem. I am using a Logitech notebook deluxe webcam and he is using the built in webcam.
