I have to add that my wireless card works properly on Linux ubuntu but it has mentioned problem with my Windows XP.
Thank you for helping on this matter.
My laptop : Vostro 1510
BOIS Version : A15
Drivers that i'm trying to install : R174291 and R205204 (when I install the drivers , wireless LED gets turned on for a few seconds, But then it again goes off.)
It is greatly appreciated

Hi
I think that we must install windows again and install all drivers in the order that dell support declared it.
--- for network ----
1.Network Adapters
2.Wlan/wireless driver
3.Bluetooth/chipset driver
I dont test it until now.
anybody has idea?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I send e-mail to dell support and they say :
Thank you for contacting Dell Warranty Support.
I understand that the Wireless device's driver on your Vostro Notebook 1510 is not properly installed when you changed your Windows Operating System to Vista Ultimate from Vista Basic.
I apologize for the problems you have encountered with your Dell system. We appreciate the opportunity to work with you to resolve the situation.
For this issue, since we have the information on what driver is missing, I would like for you to download and install the Wireless Driver for your system on the Dell Drivers and Downloads page. To download the Driver, please go to this page:
http://snipurl.com/h50d4
Steps on how to download and install can be found on the same page by clicking on the "[+] Installation Instructions"
However, if the problem still persists even after installing the correct driver for your system, then I suggest that you revert back to the original Operating System that came originally with your system so that we will know if the problem is with the Driver or the Wireless Card itself. Because we cannot provide further troubleshooting steps if you are using a different Operating System than the one you have when you originally purchased the system.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I Downloaded that driver and unistalled my "Dell Wireless 1396 WLAN Mini-Card" and after that installed it using downloaded driver. But the problem still remains!!!
And about the order to install drivers; I haven't tried it yet. I'll do it later.

Thank you dear nima.ok for your reply. I've recently installed Windows XP on my laptop and used the order mentioned in your post to install drivers. And it's working correctly. But I haven't done it for win vista yet. It seems I should restore my system to dell factory settings.
Thanks a lot!
