Problem with wireless adapter and drivers!

Hi All! 

So here's my problem that I've been trying to resolve for two days now. 

My computer was working beautifully up until I uninstalled a anti-virus program. I have a few protection programs on my computer and this one was just one too many and since the update a week ago it was slowing down my computer so I got rid of it. 

But then it gave me the blue screen of death and when my computer came back on I suddenly wasn't able to connect to the internet. The networks show and say "Limited access"

when i go to look at the WLAN card it tells me: 

"there are currently no wireless adapters available and enabled. Please enable any available wireless adapters before accessing this configuration utility."

I go to look at adapter, it's enabled and fine. All the connections are fine. I even re-did the connections between the computers in the household. 

I have tried everything I've seen on this forum,on the lavasoft forum and around the internet for similar or near exact same issues.

I've tried doing the winsock fix and it won't work, regcure and others similar programs refuse to download and when I try to do dos commands to fix things nothing happens or errors saying this .dll is missing or error xxxxx number. 

I'm at my wits end and about to just set it back to factory settings. I'd rather do that than pay a small fortune to have someone attempt and fail to fix it (i've already tried two online chats with 'professionals' and they were rude and no help at all.)

Please, if you have any ideas please let me know, I would love to hear! I can live without my laptop's internet but having a computer that is portable and not slow as molasses is really nice.
