Had problems with network connection from Inspiron 5150, XP Pro with TrueMobile 1350 connecting to Linksys WRT54G wireless broadband router. The Linksys router was providing 'excellent' connection for two other laptops. As soon as the Inspiron was booted up, it knocked the other laptops off the router and the Inspiron was not able to connect to the router.
Upgraded the firmware on the Linksys router (after many other attempted fixes failed) and all is well.

Thanks to you both for the input. I thought about upgrading the firmware on the Linksys router. Have tried many things, can't hurt.
