It sounds like you need to delete the old ISP in the "Account" setup and also setup a new Account for the new ISP (BT). The BT support site should have all the info needed to setup your Outlook Express Account (or at least most ISP's have this info available on line).
brilliant, at last i can reply-- when i tried many times before, for some reason the cursor just wouldn't appear in message body so i couldn't type a reply.... so i tried sending a private message direct to you--don't know if i did that ok..
ANYWAY, many many thanks for your advice--- it took a while ,but now am up and running with Outllook express so can forward links to other email users, which is great.
