Problems Hosting Multiplayer on Unreal Tournament 2004

Question

When ever i host a UT2004 game no one can join, I even tried on another PC , no one can join a internet game, I even put UT in the firewall exception list, my hub is a D-Link DI-624 but my PC is connected by ethernet, i know a lot about PCs but i dont have a clue when it comes networking.

Is the D-Link product a router or a hub?

Okay, I answered my own question, it's a router. You will need to open the port required for that game (called port forwarding or virtual server) to allow traffic back and forth thru the router. Drag out the manual and read. It's not that hard.

Well, either one of two things will happen, either you will continue to have the problem or resolve yourself to learn some basic networking skills.  Or pay me $125/hour and I'll come by and fix it.
