Product question (wirelss adapter)

Question

I recently got  Verizon DSL for my comp, and i want to hook up a second computer to it wirelessly. Since its an older modle comp it does not have the nessacery programing to do so.   My dsl booklet says if the comp can no tconnect to get a 802.11g Wireless adapter (USB). When i contacted dell, they told me to get somethin completly diffrent. So... Time for a thrid opinion. Whats product do i actuly need???

If needed, the older comp is a Demension 2300

All you need is a 802.11 b/g PCI wireless network adapter or an 802.11 b/g USB wireless network adapter.   Steve

Just to expand on what Steve said. The USB adapter is to be attached to your desktop to give it the ability to send a signal to a wireless router that is then connected to your DSL modem. If the DSL modem does not send out a wireless signal you will need to get a wireless router that will send the signal. Please go to the Wireless Support portal for more informaiton on how to set up a wireless network and what devices are needed.
