I do not believe that the system will need to be changed from its current configuration in order to use Earthlink. However, you may need to set up a new Dial-Up Connection. You should contact Earthlink directly in order to obtain the necessary setup instructions for connecting to that service.

is there such thing as split phone line, meaning one input and two output?
Phone line splitters are available at local electronics retailers; these will simply turn one jack into two or more phone line connections.
