Re: Connect printer to wireless notebook
Hi Steve,
I have a Dell Optiplex gx270 desktop, a linksys router (wireless G) and a Sony Vaio with wireless card. The router works perfectly and the laptop receives good signal. I have been trying to share the printer that is attached to the desktop with an USB connection. I have followed instructions on Microsoft's Vista on how to share a printer, but it does not work. BUT, I researched in HP that the printer I have (LaserJet 1020 ) "does not support a wireless connection"....(

Does it mean that I am not going to be able to print from my wireless laptop to the printer attached to my desktop? any alternative to fix this problem (in addition to return the printer, of couse) that could be cost-effective?
thanks a lot
