Question

my laptop does not recognize my wireless card...where do I find it...

checked the "connect to" and it does not see the card

can't find my what type of card it is...

You should always let us know your model computer and any other info--model wireless card etc. Did you install the Notebook System Software for your model after reinstalling XP? If not, you will not be able to install the drivers for your network card and some other drivers. The Notebook Sys Software should be installed first with the chipset drivers and before all other drivers. It's available on your Dell Download page.
