I the laptop for about a year it is my daughters. You know how the kids can be opening up stuff they dont understand if you download something there might be a file behind hiding and can mess up the pc. I want to restart pc from original settings have all the software.

Ok, got the site. I sure do thank you . Since it seems you know something about computers maybe you can help me with this one. I have a desktop with windows 98. It was giving me problems so I started deleting files and lords knows i done deleted files that were important I think I lost all my dos and now my floppy does not work to reboot. I have tried the resource cd. I turn puter on and cannot go to know programs. Can you help me

It's been awhile since I installed 98, but it sounds as though you deleted some system files that 98 depends on to run. Never, repeat afetr me, NEVER, just randomly delete files with Explorer. Delete program with Add/Remove program from the Control Panel.
I'll find you a 98 reinstall guide.
