Remote Access Printing

Recently purchased Vostro 200 Desktop with Vista Business.  Installed a local HP1200 laser printer to this computer.  Use remote access to connect to server running Windows Server 2003.  Can not print to HP1200 from programs located on server.  XP machines in same building can print to their local printers.  Any suggestions?

I'm using XP currently so the tabs may be slightly different.  I've upgraded to RDP 6 though, so hopefully it's basically the same.

Once you've openned the initial Remote Desktop window but before you've connected, click the 'local resources' tab.  You can then pick which local resources (drives and printers) you want to have available for use during the remote session.

Printer Sharing on XP/Vista Network
Go to Control Panel. Choose printer. Then choose Add Printer.
Choose Add a local printer. Click on Create a new port. The default in the drop down box is Local Port. Do not change that. Click Next.
A dialogue box will appear asking for you to enter a port name.
Type in the \\computer name\printer name
Microsoft thinks printers on a intranet are local.
