Remote Procedure Call Service terminated unexpectedly

I get this message whenever I'm surfing the net on my dial up connection:

"..........Iniciated by NT Authority/System."

"Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly"

Also, when inicially attempting to connect through Joi internet I get this message:

"There have been transient errors.  Do you want to redial?"

another pop up when connected is:  "C://Windows.lsass.exe terminated unexpectedly."

Can someone please tell me what these mean and how I fix them?

It kinda sounds like someone is trying to hack you.  Have you scanned for a virus and/or malware/spyware?  www.downloads.com and get AdAware and Spybot, and also use your anti-virus software (updated with the latest definitions) to do a virus scan.

I did a virus scan with a Mcafee Stinger program and found that I have the Sd bot worm.  It's in file:  C:\Windows\System32\rasmngr.exe.

I can't remove it because I believe it's an XP file.

Would the info you gave me help remove or fix the file?

Both the McAfee and Symantics website would have the steps to manually remove that virus.  I would also get the AdAware and Spybot programs and scan after getting the virus out.
