deano1000no,

Places to look to see if your Connection is enabled

When this happened, did you recently install the operating system?

Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID and REGISTERED OWNER, if using XP, run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.

What virus program and firewall are you using?

The guy who was going to fix it removed the old Wi-Fi card as he said it was damaged.

I opened up the back of the pc to make sure, so I need a new one.

It happened a year or so ago, I dropped it.

deano1000no,

Dell has drivers for...

Intel WiFi Link 6200/6250/6205/6300 Driver

I liked the Intel 6200 AGN adapter it works well and can work on both 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz

Intel® WiMAX Link 6250 Driver

This adapter works on both 2.4Ghz and 5.0GHz

Dell Wireless WLAN 1397/1501/1510/1520 Half MiniCard Driver

1397 and 1501 work on 2.4GHz only

1510 and 1520 work on 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz

Hi thanks for the help, I looked at the card you recommended, it looks too wide to fit into the slot.

This size card looks right size wise, but I'm not sure which one I'll need.
