RIPREP issues with XP Pro and 2003
I have a bunch of Dimension 2350's and 2400's that I would like to install XP Pro on using RIS and RIPREP. I am installing all my software as I always do and running RIPREP fine. When I go to download the image I created to another machine, I get a message stating that the machine could not read the operating system image from... and it is blank here. I can drop the original XP fine, however, any modifications I make to the image can not be uploaded (RIPREPed) and dropped (RISed) again. Anyone run into this issue???

Yeah man... I've run into the same issue. The guys from tech support keep running me around in circles. There seems to be no good answer for this issue as of yet. Email me at lchisholm@Nospam.pen.doc.state.in.us (Remove (nospam)) if you happen to find something out(Or If I do, I'll just post here. )
Thanks!

Hi Larry,
No luck on my end here. I read your previous post and your problem seems to kick in at a later point than mine. I am able to RIPrep Win2k images fine. For some reason I can not do the same with XP Pro. I had to follow some of your steps to get XP to work at all but those fixes were readily available and worked right off the bat. I am curious though, are you using a normal (requires activation) cd image of XP Pro, or a open license copy? We are using the later.
