Router Channel

How do I change the channel on my router so that it does not kick me out every time my 2.4 wireless phone rings??  I assume that that is the fix.

DM2,

Yes, changing the router channel to 1 or 11 usually works. But without knowing which router you have, it's not possible to answer that question specifically enough to help you.

DM2,

The channel setting is under Basic Settings/Wireless Settings in the 2350's Web-based configuration tool. It sounds like the "Auto" setting uses Channel 6 by default.

DM2,

If you've have installed the user manual for the 2350 from the Dell CD, you'll find in the manual that the 2350 can be accessed using your Web browser at http://192.168.2.1

That URL accesses the router's built-in Web server.

The default user name is admin and the default password is also admin

The manual is installed as part of the Control Utility. The default location for the user manual is C:\Program Files\Dell Wireless 2350 Control Utility\User's Guide\INDEX.htm

Unfortunately, the manual isn't available online.

hytga,

Try channel 11 or 1. If you continue to have trouble, please start a new thread, explaining more about the problems you're seeing.
