Thank you very much.  I will look into that.  I was just wondering if that Dell computer needs any additional cards etc to go with the router??

Did you order your B120 with an internal wireless network adapter?  If not, then it does not have the internal antenna which makes it very difficult to install an internet wireless adapter.  Furthermore, the B120 has an Express Card slot instead of the older PC Card slots.  Since manufacturers have yet to release Express Card wireless adapters, you out of luck there too.  If you don't have a wirelss card in your computer, then your only option at this point is to get a USB wireless adapter and plug it into one of the USB ports on your computer.

paullint,

You will need to use a wireless router which has extra ethernet ports so that you can leave one system connected using a wired connection.  Linksys, D-Link, Netgear, Linkskey, Hawking, Belkin, Dell and others manuracture and sell wireless routers.  Consider these examples:

Such products and more are available from several vendors including TigerDirect, Global, and others.  You can also check on e-bay for comparable products.

maxtrix, google would seem to indicate that the truemobile 1390 is a mini-card.  do you have a link for it showing it for sale in an express card format?

Please look at this link and you will see that the internal Express cards are not a standard WLAN MiniPCI card. They are a different shape and fitting.

Matrix and Nemesis

Please see link above for the required Express Card. It is called a  Mini PCI Express Card (also called "Mini-Card" ) and that is why Google appeared to think it was not an Express card which it most definitely is.

Cheers

Mini PCI, mini PCI express and Expresscard are different form factor there's a specific slot for each form factor and they can't be interchange.

The 3 pictures of adapter on the top is what you call a Mini PCI-E aka MiniCard and the 3 pictures at the bottom is what we call Mini-PCI card and they have a different slot, there's also what we call ExpressCard and this is how it looks like and the different form factors.

matrix_neo,

Your pictures do not show up because you need to post them on a web server and then include the link to the web server.

I indeed have a 1390 Mini card in my latest Dell laptop.  But all the links everyone has posted are to that card, which is an internal card.   Although the slot it fits into is similar to a Mini PCI slot, it is a Mini PCI E slot or Mini slot.  It is not an Express card that fits into the Express Card slot on the side of the new Dell laptops.  These Express Card Slots replace the PCMCIA slot (PC Card Slots).  That is what I was referring to in my original reply above, and no one has yet posted a link to this type of card and I still challenge someone to do so.
