Depends on the type of Internet access you have at home.  The majority of wireless routers only support broadband connection and not 56K dial-up.  Note the bottleneck will be your broadband connection - no matter how fast your wireless network can support, the fastest to/from the Internet is what your braodband can offer.

Since you have a dual band adapter, you could opt to go with a dual band router.  Using Linksys products as an example, you could go with the Linksys WRT55AG

But because dual band routers are not as common, however, to keep the cost down you may wish to install something like the Linksys WRT54G - 802.11g standard is more popular and readily available and therefore cheaper.

If you really want the absolute cheapest, you could even go with the old 802.11b standard router like the Linksys BEFW11S4 (this product appears to have been discontinued but some stores may have old stock still).

Of course this is just an illustration, you don't have to go with Linksys equipment.  Other brands will offer similar products so do check out your local computer stores.  Here is a brief comparison between the 3 current wireless network standards (courtesy of Linksys)

Happy shopping!

I've had a few but my personal favorite for A/G (and the one I use now) is the D-Link DI-784.  I think I paid $10 after a rebate a year or so ago, but I'm certain you can find one under $100.
