Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

This question does not belong in this forum.  I imagine the reason that you cannot add information to a scanned document is because the document is scanned as a picture.  You will need to scan the document as text so that you may then place the document into a word processing program so that you can make additions to it.  You may want to repost your question regarding Word into the Microsoft Office forum.

Thanks Bob-T for setting me straight. I will post it on the Office Forum and see if there's any specific ideas.  I would remove the question from this forum if I knew how.  So, anyone has my permission to remove the this post as well as my other on on 2-28-03 which has been on way too long. Thanks, Bill D.
