Security key or passphrase
I have a dell inspiron 1501 laptop and am wanting to connect to wi-fi but I need a security code or pass phrase, where can I find this?

Hi Jan Ainslie,
Please share if the router was set up by you, friend or by your Internet Service Provider. Are you trying to access a WiFi connection set up are your place? If yes, please share the model no. of the router; will take it further.
If you set it up, then you might be able to get the security key by connecting your computer via Ethernet cable and accessing the Router page.
