If you have a computer that connects permanently to your wireless network/router, you can share your printer through it:

Your computer also needs to be on if you wish to use the printer.

 

Otherwise, unless your printer has a network adapter built-in, there are printer servers that you can add to connect your printer to the router without going through a computer.  For example:

if your system is compatible, you can purchase a wireless adapter for your printer.

it also depends on the printer of course.  some won't work well or at all with print server adapters.  some work great.
