Before you set up wireless security, you just need to set SSID. The person who set up my wireless router suggested changing the name, since the default name is the brand (Manufacturer) and therefore easily guessed. When you turn on and set up one of the new systems, as long as the transmitter (radio) is on (usually by default) you just go to the system tray and RIGHT click to say 'Show available wireless networks' and then click the Connect button. Depending on the default settings, you might have to change some things, maybe not.
