sftp server - FileZilla/SSH Secure Shell

I am having issues connecting to my university's sftp server. I use the program Filezilla, but have also tried SSH Secure Shell. I have followed these steps in Filezilla: 1: Host name: sftp//: (adress) 2: Username 3: Password 4: Port 22 I just get an error message which says «unable to connect». In SSH Secure Shell the error message says: «The host (...) is unreachable. The Host may be down, or there may be a problem with the network connection. Sometime such problems can also be caused by a misconigured firewall.» I have tried to disable my CA antivirus, as well as disabled the Windows firewall. I have followed the instructions very careful, but I can't figure out this problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Message Edited by stanleyen on 11-22-2007 06:06 PM

Problem solved. My university had listed the wrong hostname in the instruction manual.
