Sierra Wireless card

I have Lattitude C610 and purchase the wireless service with Earthlink , they sale the Sierra Wireless AirCard 555 , which I installed and appears properly installed in the Device Manager.
Anytime I'm trying to connect with the Earthlink client access software is giving me "Error 720" , Earthlink is blaming the Lattitude/Windows 2000 ( running SP4). I updated everything but still not working anybody experience something like this .
Any tip appreciated

Hi jmwillis ,

Thanks for interest in my issue , the router must be a CDMA tower antenna provided by my ISP somewhere around the neighborhood.

You cannot use a SIM card without a WWAN card which you have to pay extra.

I don't know why.

If you don't believe me, just try it.
