Signal Strength?
I have a Dell 1700 series Studio Laptop with Vista. Where do I go to "see" the signal strength. My other computers are running XP and there is a small computer icon in the systems tray that reports the relative signal strength. I can't seem to find it with Vista. thanks.

On my D630 running Vista, I can mouse over the network connection icon (two monitors with a globe in front) in the system tray (down by the clock). In the window that pops up should a standard 5 bar signal strength indicator for your wireless connection.
[edit cause apparently i can't spell today]

Larry,
Thanks. That was it. In my defense, I bought if for my wife and I haven't had any time on it! The signal strength is great.

Don't feel bad. Even the best and brightest can overlook the simple stuff on occasion. :D
Glad to hear it is working.
