I find that most "slow browser" issues occur due to malfunctioning Internet Explorer Add-ons. If you're running IE7, you could try opening it without Add-Ons by using the shortcut found in Programs, Accessories, System Tools. Otherwise, open IE and choose Manage Add-ons under the Tools menu at the top. Try disabling them all and see if the problem goes away. If it does, then it's only a method of elimination to figure out which one is the culprit.

Thanks,
Tim

i have a dell inspiron 9400 with windows xp professional  version 2002
due to a slow browser, i thought i would cleanup my disks/volume?
so i checked the disk capacity
it was 51 gp free space; 49gp used space so i did the
disk cleanup
then i did
a defragmentation of the files on volume
then i did
a backup of the files on the volume
then i did
a disk cleanup
and now my
free space is  19.8 gp
and used space is 36gp
i am such a baffled artist
thank you for your help and advice....
