Spam & Spyware

Question

Hello all,   I have a Dell Inspiron which is 1 1/2 yrs. old.   I am using Internet Explorer 7, I have Yahoo security provided by Norton   and aslo have Ad-Ware and Spybot - search and destroy. I have been very diligent about deleting all temp. files, history, cookies once a week and running Norton anti virus, Ad-ware and Spybot every night before shutting down computer. What is happening is when I run a new search or open a new site.  I get a new window that opens up to offer me a service or something I do not want, or Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and has to close - send an error report to Microsoft.. This is happening all the time... I am quite certain that my system has been infiltrated and I would like to get rid of what ever is in there short of throwing lap top out the window.  Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Again Thanks

Go to the HijackThis forum -   http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board?board.id=si_hijack   Read the message in Red at the top of the forum and follow the instructions on how to download and run the HijackThis program.  Then post a HijackThis log on that forum where a HijackThis expert will help you remove the garbage.   Steve
