SPORDER .dll file not found
I cannot connect to the internet, every time I try I get "This application has failed to start because SPORDER.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem". This happens regardless if I am trying to connect to MSN, AOL, AIM, etc., etc. Any help would be appreciated.
By the way, could someone please tell me if I am posting in the wrong board? Thanks.

This is a tricky one, since sporder.dll is both a legitimate Windows file and is also installed by the Webhancer spyware (into a different folder than the Windows folder). Have you recently removed spyware like webhancer? If so, incomplete removal could be responsible for the error. Without know more about software that you have recently installed, uninstalled, or removed, I am reluctant to give advice on what to do about this problem. You might first want to look at a number of discussions of this problem by doing a search on www.google.com for "sporder.dll not found". If that does not lead you to a solution, you might want to post on the Software forum for the version of Windows you are running.

Just logged on and I am so happy to of received your reply. To think that I have had this problem for 7 months and it only took a few minutes to find some help out there, or atleast to see that there is sight at the end of the tunnel, makes me feel so lame for waiting so long to reach out. I will have time tonight to search the info you provided. I just took a sneak peek and am thrilled at what I saw. So I just had to send this message immediately to say thank you.
