SSID Broadcast Disabled

I have set my SSID Broadcast to be disabled so it does not show up on other ppls available wireless networks.  But when I do want to connect a computer to my network, is there anyway to connect it besides making the broadcast available to connect then disable it again???  I also have it secured so What Can I Do???

Thanks.

Yes I know the SSID but since it doesn't show, where do I go to connect to it.?

You will have to know the SSID of the network you want to connect to and then tell either the Windows utility or the utility that came with your network card (whichever one is managing the connection) the SSID of the network you want to connect to.

You type in the SSID when you manually configure a new wireless connection. When it's not being broadcast you have to tell your notebook what SSID to use.

You don't say which utility is managing your wireless network.   If it is the Windows utility, which I prefer, open Network Connections, select the Wireless Connection, right click and select Properties, then click on the Wireless Networks tab.  At the bottom of the screen, click on the Add button and enter the information in the boxes there.
