I believe I may not be setting up the network correctly. I went through the process in XP to set up the network. The printer is connected to the desktop via USB port. The laptops can either be wireless or hardwired to the LInksys box where I have no problems connecting to the internet. When I want to print from the laptop I'm unsure of how to connect or access the printer on the "Network" . The computers don't see each other?
Turn off the XP Firewall and make sure the printer is shared. It will be a local printer for the one it is physically connected to and a network printer to the other machine.
