Stuck In Student Mode

Please, Please, Please someone help my computer is stuck in student mode my mother got it from her school back in 02' and she never used it she gave it to me last year and i can't upgrade nothing cause its stuck in student it keeps asking me to log on to administrator mode and my mother has no clue what to do and the school changed into another school now lol can anyway help me
